We’ve been waiting for this game officially since 2013, but really in a way since 2007. That’s 10-11 years for most of us. That whole time we’ve been daydreaming for the day we’re playing KH3 for the first time. The first time we see reunions, the first time we summon an unannounced character, the first time we beat the final boss, finally hearing answers to questions we have. Years of waiting patiently to do this game justice for the amazing piece of work that it is, finished by a team that worked 6 years on it at least, making every character you see from the ground up.
And people are so okay with leaking it. Not where it’s only to their friends with their consent. They post it online, where they know for a fact that it will show up on other people’s feeds and suggestions without their consent. How many of us have had something ruined spoiled because of leaks?
What leakers do is wrong. People engaging in leaks are wrong, because you raise the possibility for those leaks to appear as suggestions for others. I hope leakers realize you have ruined the game’s arrival for so many people. Way more than pleasing people who have endulged in leaks. You’ve ruined the end of a decade long wait. You’ve ruined it for the development team themselves, ruined it for Nomura and Yasue. You’ve disgraced Kingdom Hearts.
